No Fast Track For The Trans Pacific Partnership

**********

[001619:013017] V.N., Pacific, WA
The Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP) is headed toward giving all power to large corporations and billionaires. Our voices of freedom and choice would be taken from all of us by the The New World Order, the elite wealthy, who believe they know what is best for us would control our lives. The TPP would make laws that would charge us with crimes if we fought against their control . The TPP has classified their policies which prevents our politicians from reading what it actually says. Please refuse this lie and prevent the wealthy and corrupt politicians from taking away our freedom and democracy.

The time to stand up for your constituents who you represent is NOW to vote NO to the CORPORATION AGENDA which is the SOLE purpose of fasttracking TPP. There are millions of people who are aware and WHO DON'T SHOP AT WALMART who know what is happening and most importantly WHY it is happening. I urge you that if you truly care about anyone else besides youselves and your immediate families you check out THRIVE movement who lay all the cards on the table and really tell who is in control and what we can all do about it. They are just one of many movements and sites but they offer solutions if you are really interested in doing your part to truly represent the people's best interest instead of the corporations. I do realize as many do that the corporations subsidize most of the elected people in Congress and that is why many run for office. Fast track to creating wealth. Playing with the Corporate Cabal can be very dangerous though. Just look at the number of affiliated people who have suddenly resigned and the reason why.I don't think that any of you are big enough players to escape the Corporate Cabals agenda so it would be in your best interest as well as the people you represent to vote NO to the TPP and anything that might be similar.

For months now, our Congress and Senate have known about the highly secretive Trans Pacific Partnership negotiations and leaks about its threat to our present legal system. Yet, it seems that at least parts of the text still remain secret even though the text can affect American citizens. Transparency is not at work here, it is said, to avoid amendments that would compromise its approval in other countries. While that may be true, past trade deficits had serious consequences for Americans, there is no reason to believe that those crafting the TPP did not include language that could do the same today. Demand to see the full text and evaluate it for damaging language that impairs American legal rights by corporate suits, then see to the removal of any such language before approving the bill.

We the American People oppose the TPP in all it's forms and adamantly oppose 'Fast Tracking' this legislation.

It's long over due that our representatives start representing the interests of the voters that put them in office more so than the big money that can afford to invest in their campaigns.

We vote and we will remember your vote regarding the TPP.

Sincerely,

I am deeply concerned that our country is in grave danger of losing its sovereignty if the Trans-Pacific Partnership receives fast-track approval by both Senate and House. Our environmental and labor laws (all laws) may be superseded by an international tribunal run by global corporations and their lawyers. Under the TPP Agreement, corporate rule will intrude upon every area of our lives - food, water, clean air, health, education, inventions. We will essentially be denied the right to thrive as human beings. We the people are responsible for allowing corporate power to reach this massive level of control. Now we need to rid ourselves of the cancer of commercialism that is destroying us and our planet. Our planet is not for sale!

I would finally like to thank Representative Chaka Fattah for signing the Rosa L. DeLauro letter opposing fast track for the Trans Pacific Partnership and urge our Senators to make similar commitments.

Enough is enough! Have you people not been paying attention to what the previous free trade agreements have done to our middle class and the American industrial and manufacturing economies?

Its time to quit pandering to corporations and their lobbies and start supporting the people before there is nothing but corporations and serfs.

Threats Posed by TPP

More Job Offshoring, More Income Inequality

The TPP would incentivize offshoring American jobs to low-wage countries, and would also exacerbate U.S. income inequality.

Undermining Food Safety

The TPP would require us to import meat and poultry that does not meet U.S. safety standards. It would impose limits on food labeling.

Threats to Public Health

U.S. negotiators are pushing the agenda of Big Pharma - expanding firms' monopoly protections for drugs. The TPP would restrict access to life-saving medicines for millions in developing nations, while undermining efforts to contain U.S. medicine costs.

Financial Deregulation: Banksters' Delight

The TPP would undermine the re-regulation of Wall Street. It would prohibit bans on risky financial products and services and undermine "too big to fail" regulations.

Son of SOPA: Curtailing Internet Freedom

Thought SOPA was bad? The TPP would require internet service providers to "police" user-activity and treat individual violators as large-scale for-profit violators. Plus, the TPP would stifle innovation.

Bye Buy American and Jobs

The TPP would impose limits on how our elected officials can use tax dollars - banning Buy American or Buy Local preferences and offshoring our tax dollars to create jobs abroad.

More Power to Corporations to Attack Nations

Foreign corporations would be empowered to attack our health, environmental and other laws before foreign tribunals on the mere basis that their expectations were frustrated, and to demand taxpayer compensation for expected future profits.

Please do your job and support the American people, workers and our sovereign rights or face making us find someone else that will.

We, the people, demand that you immediately make a like commitment in writing to oppose any consideration of the terms of the Trans Pacific Partnership not conducted in the full light of day on the floors of the U.S. Congress.

In particular, we, the people, demand that members of the Senate demonstrate parallel leadership to put a majority of senators on the record in writing opposing fast track for the TPP.

Dear Senator Feinstein and Senator Boxer:

Just like it has become clear the CIA has spied on Congress and hurt you, it is clear that corporations are getting together to hurt all. The Trans Pacific Partnership is not beneficial to hard working people, it's beneficial to multi-million and -billion dollar companies and banks, making the rich richer.

Please align with your congressional colleagues and sign either the Jones or Larson letter. Why should the TPP be formed without Congressional consent? Don't you want to have a say in how and if we come together as nations to trade and make money?

Please don't give up your power to write and pass trade laws. What's the point of having a Congress if you do?

A friend of mine recently brought the issue regarding the Trans Pacific Partnership to my attention and I am wishing to bring it to as many responsible American's attention as possible and hopefully stop it. Thank you for reading and please do everything in your power to see that this is not passed.

Congress should not give up it's responsibility to create laws and control any trade agreements. NAFTA resulted in a massive loss of manufacturing jobs and has made us indebted to China. Public discussion of any new trade agreements is essential in a democracy.

Dear Editor,
I know your an just a human being doing your job that is respectable. I know you have also heard of the TPP Agreement. (If not you should look into it). Without going into too much detail let me just say it does not have the well being of the average american citizen in mind. Some things that the TPP Agreement will likely present a threat to are the following
- Access to medicine for the poor.
-Internet freedom (this affects you personally as a newspaper editor)
-The climate balance
-National sovereignty
-Government transparency
-Democracy
-Human right
-Manageable immigration and immigrant rights
-institutional resistance to human trafficking
-labor rights
-Buy local incentive (includes buying American)
-Economy stabalizing financial regulation
-Public health care systems
-Public services generally
-Rights of indigenous people.

Im not asking you to be a part of anything and i am definitely not asking you to violate any personal values or morals that you have. I am simply asking you to do your job and give the people information that pertains to there very well being. Everyone has a right to know how the agreement will affect them and i think its your job to help inform the public and deliver uncensored, unbiased information and news. Once again, I'm not asking you to advocate this, i just would like you to inform the public, maybe throw a little editorial note to read into it. At this point anything would help. I'm just a 22 year old who is concerned with the future of our nation/world and would like to try and make a difference if possible. Media is the key and you have no idea how much it would mean if you could be of any help. please feel free to email me back or contact me personally i will include my number if requested. I hope you took the time to read this and i genuinely appreciate the time you took out of your day to hear me out.
Sincerely, The voice of our people
-

The Government is out of control - that they would even consider this legislation! The fact that the TPP is trying to be secretely fast-tracked Screams that it needs needs to be publicly reviewed. How do you justify receiving a paycheck from the American Citizens who hired you to be a steward of the people when your loyalty clearly resides elsewhere. Everyone influencing this corruption of democracy should be removed from office and that will be the job of the people on election day. Tootles, Formerly Elected Special Interest Legislators. If you're working for Big Corporations, let them pay your salary! Election day is coming!

There is no reason to fast track this legislation when there is so much opposition to it. Let's all understand what is being proposed.

Lets get real about the details of this bill. It seems to be a bait and switch to me. No one wants to talk about the underlying issues in the content of this trade bill.
You owe it to your constituents to do the right thing and vote NO.....

As a veteran I swore to uphold the constitution. As a senator or representative, I would assume you did also. I would consider a vote for this to be treason and grounds for impeachment.

It is appalling that a petition like this needs to exist. Support of the Trans Pacific Partnership in any way is a crime against the people who elected you to office. Giving corporations the right to sue governments for lost profits if those governments pass regulations to protect the health of their people or the ecosystems of their land is ABSOLUTELY INSANE. PLEASE make a commitment to OPPOSE the Trans Pacific Partnership.

I do NOT support the Trans Pacific Partnership and I do NOT SUPPORT fast track. This is a way for putting insweetheart deals for the biggest corporations without any discussion. I DO NOT TRUST CONGRESS, I DO NOT TRUST THE PRESIDENT ANYMORE. You guys are a bunch of self serving idiots groveling at the feet of multi national corporations. Prove me WRONG and DON'T SUPPORT THE TPP OR FAST TRACK. THIS MEANS YOU FEINSTEIN and BOXER.
