Please help us. We want to bing our people home from Iraq. Our only chance is for our senators and congress people to listen to our voice and follow the will of the American people. Please. The majority of the American people want this war to end. Please look out for us first and take care of our American sons and daughters. They don,t belong there. Respectfully, I ask for your help. Thank you

Iraq is our newest definition of a quagmire. We must protect American servicemen lives and ease the possible pain on their loved ones by bringining them home, NOW. We must stop the fiscal irresponsbility by continueing to pay so much for this war and this military action. We must end it NOW! Support our troups, bring them home.

The "surge" is working because the Sunnis have allowed it to work. It does appear that the violence is down, but to suggest that it is due to the "surge" is only, what I believe according to statements from Senator Webb and the literature I read, a mistaken assumption. It has been all too well reported that Al Quaida has gone over the top in their violence, even against their Sunni brethren who are simply fighting back. This new reality on the ground is essentially a gift to our U.S. forces, but for us to turn it into something we created and now control is as absurd as the absurdity that is now known as the Iraq war.

Fund the Sunnis to fight Al Quaida and withdraw the troops peripherally if possible. But with all the bad will that Blackwater has created, even that is now in question. With the Shiites controlling the South and the British still being challenged in that area, it also becomes questionable whether we have the southern route safely available to us into Kuwait. The Kurds are none to happy with us ever since that Blackwater fiasco that occurred in Kirkuk last February 7, 2006. Is our withdrawal a safe bet using that route? Although it is essential that we withdraw and support the right people now and in the future to govern themselves, this fiasco with which Mssrs. Bush and Cheney have deluded themselves with the help of neocons, have demonstrated few safe withdrawal routes on which to depend. Oh yes, if we withdraw we will get out, but don't believe for one minute that the neighborhood will allow us free passage with any reasonable tolerance. Even the Saudi's and Jordanians will be holding their nose.

Withdraw the troops as soon as possible before next year's end. Call Mr. Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz, and others to account for this sad part of our history through the process of impeachment or charges of war crimes. At this point, nothing less is acceptable.

We must get out of Iraq. The war is helping only Iran and al Queda, by destriying the U.S. military for no gain, undermining U.S. international prestige and diplomatic power, greatly assisting al Queda recruiting so that by fighting themover ther we are more likely to have to fight them here, wasting thousands of Amerian and over 1 million Iraqi lives, destabalizing the region and treatening Israel, weakening the U..S economy and its ability to support all governmetnal functions including national security and recting properly to natural disasters.

No president or vice president in our history has done more to qualify for impeachment. We must act to restore and preserve our democracy beyond this current presidency.

I hate to see our hard-earned taxes being used this way in Iraq -- killing and maiming people and wasting trillions of dollars. It's certainly not to ensure national security, but rather to keep people employed in the overused war industries -- a short-sighted way to stimulate the economy -- and to satisfy the greed of rich war profiteers to enrich themselves even further, as long as some of those war profits -- in the form of campaign contributions and other goodies -- get kicked back to politicians who gain and hold power and influence from these ill-gotten gains. Crookedness condoned and legalized by our electoral and governmental systems.

PLEASE BECOME A CO-SPONSOR OF AN OUT OF IRAQ BILL. WE NEED TO START AN ORDERLY WITHDRAWAL NOW! PLEASE BECOME A CO-SPONSOR FOR UNIVERSAL HEALTHCARE FOR ALL AMERICANS. IF WE CAN SPEND UPWARDS OF $250 MILLION EACH YEAR FOR THE WARS IN iRAQ AND AFGHANISTAN WE CAN SURELY AFFORD $350 MILLION OVER A TEN YEAR PERIOD FOR THE WELFARE OF OUR OWN CITIZENS.

The war needs to end and should have long ago. No weapons of mass destruction where found and it was time to move on long ago. This administration has tried to scare all the American people into believing we had to go to war. The truth has been uncovered long ago. It is time to move out of Iraq and move on to trying to fix the sad state of affairs in our own country. Many lives were lost and much money was spent for nothing but profit for Cheney's companies.

I can barely afford to pay the rent and have no chance of owning a home in the near future - and I have an MA! Yet I can make smart decisions about my finances and know when I simply can't afford something. How then can our government justify continually spending billions and billions when it is already in debt and there's so much here at home that its people need? And those people that it supposedly represents are largely against this wasteful war! Most people can't afford decent healthcare. That colonoscopy that the pres. just got? Most mens' healthcare doesn't cover that. And as a twenty-something, I can't count on the government to support me in my old age, even though I pay through the nose for it every paycheck. Read Boomsday for more of my opinion on that matter! Stop supporting the war! That's my hard-earned cash you're wasting and I'm sick of it! Sick of the wastefulness, sick of the senseless death, sick of the government plugging its ears and closing its eyes when it people are talking to it. Listen Up!

Please note additionally that, although I have been a Democrat all my life, I will never again vote for a Democratic Party candidate unless this party adopts a platform and plan to stop the war in Iraq immediately and withdraw our troops.

The vast majority of the U.S. problems, as budget surplus to record deficit, decline of working class' financial well-being, inflation, stem from the illegal occupation, genocide and stealing from the sovereign nation of Iraq. Get the troops out so we can fix and secure life on the U.S. soil.

Where is the truth? That's what I want to know. For far too long, various talking heads which shall remain unnamed have fed us the same lies over and over again. It has to stop! Too many of our soldiers that go to Iraq come back in body bags, and the ones who do survive are mostly maimed or worse! Talk to a soldier and most of them would tell you that Iraq is a living nightmare, and nothing we've done is succeeding! It's time to demand change! Like Patrick Henry more than 200 years ago, it's time to demand our rightful liberties with the power of non-violent protests and active Democratic participation!

We cannot allow the U.S. Congress to continue to support the war in Iraq. The chaos and sectarian bloodshed people believe will happen if we withdraw is already happening. The war profiteers, the contractors, are the only ones benefiting from our presence there. The Iraqi people are not. This war has never been about democracy, no matter what the Bush administration says. We must bring our soldiers home.
