The latest scam they are trying to run down on the American people is to retroactively lower the liability bar to some kind of flimsy "good faith standard", the clear intent of which is to ensure that the telecoms get off the hook, another snaky end run around the law. Suppose a bank robber told a judge he had a good faith belief it was his own money. How far would that one fly? What part of NO immunity don't they get?
