Yesterday on Air America, Randi Rhodes issued a call to action to speak out to Congress on a bill introduced to
finally straighten out the abuses and funny business with the FISA Court.
The "FISA Modernization Bill of 2007 (H.R. 3782)", introduced by Rush Holt, would not only correct previous abuses,
but also the so-called Protect America Act, passed in such a rush just before the
last Congressional break, which just exacerabated the problems.

"FISA Modernization Bill of 2007" will finally demand accountability and
compliance with the 4th amendment of our Constitution, and repudiate everything that is wrong with the White
House's new secret police. There is an alternatively proposed
"Restore Act of 2007",
which addresses some of these critical problems, but does not go nearly far enough.
We now have a strong bill to rally around, the key points of which include NO blanket warrants on American
citizens and no retroactive immunity. Please join to voices speaking out on this to have the impact that we
